Biodegradable 9" Plate - Set of 50

Biodegradable 9" plate is made from sugar pulp, which is the pulp left over after sugar-cane juice is extracted. This process is low energy and uses no chemicals in its conversion from starch to the final product. It also reduces waste in the sugar cane industry and is an annually renewable, rapid growing plant.

The plates feel like paper, but are much stronger.

These products are microwaveable, can be refrigerated, are water and oil proof, and are shelf stable for up to two years.

What's green about this product? The plates will decompose in 180 days in compost or in 15 days in water.
