With Halloween right around the corner, I decided to highlight a wedding theme which is designed to bring out the kid in all of us. It also is one of the easiest to get grooms on board with! ☺ The mustache - that popular disguise for both spies and superheroes alike – has gained meteoric mainstream popularity over the past few years. You see it everywhere from tattoos to baby blankets and everywhere in between. Brides and grooms can utilize this prominent, quirky and fun icon in their big day as a subtle or strong wedding theme.

Eco-chic Mustache Wedding – “Handlebar-ing” the Ceremony
Incorporating the mustache into your ceremony décor is so easy. Just start with a basic black and white color scheme, throw in a pop color like

When you think September, you think “back to school”. It’s the time of year that brings out the kid in all of us! And leading the charge of kiddies back into those hallowed halls is a troop of teachers, librarians & administrators. I have the utmost respect for school teachers and librarians. They have more patience, more imagination and more energy than most other people. Teachers mold our future leaders and innovators.
When it comes time to marry, most teachers like to draw on their teaching background for design inspiration. In designing a perfect sustainable wedding theme for a teacher or librarian, it is important to incorporate your ABC’s into the overall wedding plan.

When Ecopartytime came out with their new line of beach & nautical event invitation sets, I was so excited. There are just not enough “beachy” eco-chic invitations in the world! Not only are they printed on recycled paper, they are also seeded so your guests can plant them and grow flowers after the wedding! Ecopartytime is carrying the entire suite including invitations, reply cards, place cards, thank you cards, and favor tags.
As my husband can tell you, I am a beach baby to the core. There is just something about the ebb and flow of bodies of water that I find so relaxing and inspiring. Water provides such an amazing palette of colors to work with. From the blue-green ombre colors from seafoam and baby blue to deep emerald green and navy blue with sandy brown and seashell pinks and off-whites, water provides a plethora of event possibilities. In this article, we’ll discuss three unique water-related wedding themes which highlight different water passions.

Over the past few years as Ecopartytime’s resident Green Event Expert, I have been amazed at how on-trend Ecopartytime keeps their green party inventory. As a green wedding planner, one of my most requested themes in 2014 has been the chevron. This hot little pattern has taken the wedding and event world by storm! The chevron is definitely the new damask. Depending on what other design elements you pair it with, it can be preppy, vintage or whimsical. The chevron can play either the supporting role as a unique neutral or be the “Darling Diva” of your design. Ecopartytime offers many chevron patterned options for your earth-friendly wedding, shower, or engagement party including an eco-chic plantable invitation suite which includes the invite, rsvp card, placecard, and favor tags. This delightful

1. Charter a shuttle for your guests
For starters, hiring a shuttle is a great way to ensure the safety of all your guests who might offer a few too many toasts, but that's not the only benefit to offering the service. By allowing people to carpool to and from your site and reception, you're literally taking cars off the road and preventing their carbon outputs … for a few hours. Just be sure to hire a driver with at least a moderately efficient form of transportation. (Thanks but no thanks, Hummer limo.)
2. Choose natural or compostable tableware
When you're feeding a large group of people, it only makes sense to opt for single-use tableware. No one wants to spend hours after the reception scrubbing plates. Still, there are disposable options that are more responsible than others. Take a look at biodegradable

I was so excited when Brilliant Earth asked us to share their new vintage line of eco-chic jewelry with our readers. I’ve always been an ardent admirer of their business practices and beautiful conflict-free jewelry. While checking out their newly launched Belle Epoque collection, I fell in love with the graceful and romantic design of the jewelry. Admiring their Isis & Belle wedding rings, I had a vintage “Birds and Bees” wedding theme pop into my head which would make Lady Mary or Edith Crawley swoon with delight.
Imagine a formal English rose garden with stone benches, tables with stiffly starched lace tablecloths and silver tea service and you have the perfect background

Today we’re going to talk about one of our favorite new wedding trends – chalkboards. Once only used for country weddings, today you can see chalkboards cropping up in all kinds of weddings. From the vintage to the modern, reusable chalkboards are replacing paper and cardboard signage on welcome signs, drink and dessert displays, even table number & place settings.

Having grown up in Colorado and now living in Dallas, I have seen my fair share of amazing weddings with rustic-chic wedding themes. If you are one of the people who has always dreamed of getting married in cowboy boots in a red barn, let me share a few eco-chic and rustic themes you might consider for your big shindig.
Eco-chic Rustic Wedding Theme – Wonderful Woods
You can’t get much more rustic than the forest, woodgrain, and logs. Like relationships, there are no two woodgrains alike. Highlight this wonderfully unique medium by displaying it throughout your wedding from invitations to favors. No barn for miles? Consider renting a wooden backdrop from one of the many vintage décor rental companies like Sassafras & Flair. Set your table with All Occasion Veneerware Knives,
