The world right now is in complete bouncing baby bliss since the royal baby made his debut last month. Our article this week celebrates that theme as well. Something you may not know about me is I love planning and throwing Brilliantly Green baby showers almost as much as I love Brilliantly Green weddings
A very dear friend of mine, Lindsey, is a very pregnant mama-to-be. I recently threw her (and her future daughter, Lucy) a pink and green “Little Sprout” shower. I’ve always loved parallels between babies and plants–they both start so tiny and grow so quickly. They both inspire us as adults and we pour our hopes for the future and lots of love into both as well.

Green is our favorite color at EcoPartyTime but your baby, soon to be toddler, deserves all of the colors of the rainbow when you celebrate that first milestone birthday.
Eco Decorations for a Rainbow Theme Party
String Rainbow tissue paper garland with all of the colors of the rainbow around your party space. If you hold your party outdoors, string the garlands around the trees (over time they will naturally decay from nature if you don't recycle them) to make an exciting play space for little ones.
If you have time and sewing skills, you can turn old clothing into your own colorful garland.
Cut and sew strips of fabric to create a rainbow table cover. Or consider our rainbow paper table cover.
Remind your guests the reason for your celebration by hanging colorful

We’ve all been to plenty of patriotic parties over the years. Most are filled with food, friends, family, and fun! If you’re looking to give your party that little something extra special this year, try the following options:
Patriotic Theme Party Decorations
Most patriotic themed celebrations carry the traditional red, white, and blue color scheme. You can look for things in this color scheme like fabrics, cushions, flags, or gift wraps around your house and arrange them around your dessert table for a festive look.
Use the American flag as the backdrop for the dessert table. For additional pops of color, consider our bandcamp tassel garlands. Our patriotic theme fan garland would be a great addition to your decorations. If you’re feeling extra festive, try both!

It seems like everywhere I look this summer, my friends and family are pregnant. My mind (naturally) has turned to Brilliantly GreenTM baby showers.
I’ve seen amazing themes like “Waddle It Be” baby ducks, “Which team are you on?” Football, shabby chic “Bow Tie or Barrette” and “Which flavor” ice cream social gender reveals. But when Dani, my country-loving friend found out she was having a baby, I knew we needed an eco-chic & unique Country Cowboy or Cowgirl Gender Reveal.
Eco-friendly Baby Shower Gender Reveal – Setting the scene, ranch style
For country décor, I went with bandanas in the traditional baby colors of blue and pink (reused later to make a crib set for the baby’s room) and layered in cowboy elements like vintage ropes, hats and saddles borrowed from various members of my family. I also used recycled western iron art from Aspen Ironworks www.AspenIronworks.com

Garden Tea Party Sandwiches and Treats
It wouldn't be a tea party without tiny finger sandwiches. Tea sandwiches are simple to make. Take thin slices of sandwich bread, slice off the edges (save for another use such as bread stuffing or bread crumbs), spread on a very thin layer of butter and fill with classics such as cream cheese and thin cucumber slices; egg salad; chicken salad; or even peanut butter and jelly spread in a thin layer on the bread. Cut these sandwiches into triangles and place them on a china plate for serving.
A Shabby Chic Garden Tea Party wouldn't be complete without an assortment of dainty sweets. Make or purchase from your local bakery beautiful little cookies, colorful cake pops and petit fours. Floral cupcakes will seem as if they were picked from your garden, and when wrapped in Olivia recycled linen paper cupcake wrappers,

A Shabby Chic Garden Tea Party Needs a Lovely Setting
It wouldn't be a shabby chic garden tea party without setting it in a beautiful garden. If you don't have a garden, blooming with spring or summer flowers behind your home, see if you can borrow the garden of a grandmother, aunt, or other close relative to host your party. If that isn't possible, check with your local Chamber of Commerce to see if there is a garden or park available for private parties.
Shabby Chic Clothing Style is Part of the Fun at this Tea Party
It's eco-friendly to dress up for a shabby chic tea party. Your guests should aim to dress in Sunday best, proper lady attire. They can choose clothing already in their closets, purchased in a thrift store or from another recycled source. Or they can dress in eco-friendly Sarah Silk Princess Dresses and Sarah Silk Garlands for a more whimsical look. Ladylike
